Vela Professional Services: Making Technology Work for Construction

Vela's Professional Services team has deployed hundreds of projects in North America and the world. The Vela deployment methodology is designed to successfully enable your project and corporate teams to leverage the benefits of field mobility, with a clear understanding of the realities of a construction jobsite. For example, we know that our users don't have hours to spend in training sessions, so we have built our training to be in small sections focused around key tasks. Other key aspects of a Vela deployment include:

  • Jobsite visits for hands-on project team training with software and the Tablet PCs
  • Help with setting up Vela applications with your specific project data
  • An Implementation Specialist who gets to know your team and project needs
  • Configurations to standard reports and products to fit project team and overall company needs
  • Services and training for your project teams and IT to make everyone self-sufficient

Vela Support Team: There When You Need Us

Vela's Professional Services team helps get projects running, then our Support team is available via phone, email and live chat to assist when questions or issues arise. In many cases, the support team will use Internet tools that let us see what you or your users are doing in real time, so we can immediately address any questions or concerns. Customers can also use effective self-help tools, including FAQs and movies that illustrate, for example, how to best use a Tablet PC pen.
