Integration Technical Overview

The Vela Integration Adaptor (VIA) is a powerful pre-configured connector between Primavera and Vela. The Vela Integration Adaptor’s key features include the following:

• Bidirectional integration synchronizes Primavera to Vela and Vela to Primavera.
• Deployment works with Hosted and Non-hosted Primavera.
• Primavera mapping is pre-configured and productized, so it is not ‘custom code’ – this speeds deployment, with case studies showing installation to first integration in less than one hour.
• Pre-configured field mapping and integration logic can be edited via user interface, for easy configuration of Primavera custom fields.
• Web Services are used, so firewall changes are not needed in almost all cases.
