VELA SYSTEMS AND XPLORE TECHNOLOGIES PARTNER TO BRING FIELD ADMINISTRATION ON RUGGED TABLET PCS TO ENERGY, PROCESS AND OTHER HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENTS
Xplore's Military-Grade, Ruggedized Tablet PCs Are Safe for No Spark Environments and Can Endure Falls, Blowing Rain, Dust and Extreme Temperatures
Burlington, MA - October 6, 2008 - Vela Systems, a developer of mobile field software for the AECO (Architecture-Engineering-Contractor-Owner) industry, today announced that it is partnering with Xplore Technologies, a provider of rugged, military-grade Tablet PCs, to bring mobile field administration software to harsh and dangerous environments such as refineries, chemical and power plants.
