Barton Malow leveraged Vela Systems field software integrated with Tekla BIM and core concepts of COBie* to streamline commissioning and create a BIM-enabled handover deliverable to the Owner Maryland General Hospital for use in ongoing operations.

Project:
Maryland General Hospital's (Baltimore, Maryland) Central Care Expansion, a new five-story building attached to the existing hospital includes 15,534 sq. ft. of renovated space and 77,000 sq. ft. of new space.
