Vela Systems Benefits |
Quality |
Ensure levels of quality and code compliance, to conform to federal, state and local standards, in both public and private K-12 and higher education and institutional facilities. |
Enable stakeholders, from boards to contractor executives and field personnel, to best align quality requirements, fire and life safety conformance, etc. with work put in place. |
Cost |
Require the lowest (responsible) bid by law if a public institution and uphold a fiduciary duty to its taxpayers, state agencies, school commissions, boards and donors. |
Save money by reducing rework from deficiencies, accelerating project delivery to cut carry costs, and minimizing non-value –added tasks, such as administration. |
Time |
Deliver new construction and renovations on-time with school calendars generally without flexibility, to enable occupancy and beneficial use by students and faculty. |
Save time and accelerate project schedules by enabling field teams to be more productive, minimizing critical communication lags and errors, and reducing rework time. |
Risk |
Mandate audit-ability by state agencies and school commissions with project oversight responsibilities and fiscal duties to fixed capital budgets and programs. |
Gain real-time visibility into status across projects, to measure, benchmark and score general and trade contractor performance – with secure history logs. |
Whether your needs are for a specific project or to enable your entire construction program, sign up for a personalized demonstration of the Vela Systems product.

We're the owner here and we know that we're going to be here for a long time. CM's are going to come and go, and we don't want to get in to a process where we're trying to accommodate all of these different systems and trying to report on all of the data. It's too complicated. The only way to really make this work and keep the data consistent throughout the life of the program is to mandate the use of these systems.
