JOB TITLE: Principal Systems Engineer

We are looking for an excellent linux sys admin with experience deploying web applications. You should be happy in a small-team in a fast-paced startup environment. You will work alongside a great group of folks, using the latest technologies surrounding the linux platform. Working with our engineering and services teams, you'll manage deployments of our most visible, newest products and build a robust infrastructure with high uptime. Easy, frequent deployments are part of our agile methodology and your efforts are crucial to enabling these needs.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent coursework
• 5+ years real-world experience as a linux sys admin
• 3+ years using MySQL
• 3+ years administering a major web server (ideally apache)
• Familiarity with backup strategies and implementations
• Experience configuring and using monitoring tools
• Solid knowledge of at least one scripting language (perl, python, ruby)
• Familiarity with subversion (or other major version control system)
• Experience with cloud technologies, ideally Amazon EC2 and associated technologies
