JOB TITLE: Implementation Consultant

We are looking for a talented, highly motivated Implementation Consultant with a positive attitude and desire to make an impact on an organization by providing superior services to our customers. The ideal candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to actively respond to the needs of internal and external customers.

Position Overview:
The Implementation Consultant will be responsible for the implementation and deployment of the Vela Systems mobile software solutions to our growing customer base in the AECO industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manages scope for project tasks and the quality of project deliverables
  • Conducts Project Kickoff/Discovery sessions as defined within Vela Implementation Methodology
  • Maps client processes to Vela application functionality
  • Provides data template instructions to client for creating data
  • Manages project timelines
  • Tests application configuration and ensures accuracy and completeness based on implementation design
  • Trains client on configured Vela application(s)
  • Conducts project follow up via phone discussions/email
  • Tracks client usage on monthly basis
  • Transfers project knowledge to Vela Support team
  • Communicates client feedback to internal Vela teams
  • Assists with creation of Statement of Works for customizations/integrations
  • Configures application when required
  • Participates in department meetings
  • Contributes to implementation process improvements
  • Assists sales team with prospect calls
  • Up to 75% travel

Essential Knowledge/Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years application software implementation experience
  • Bachelors Degree or applicable work experience
  • Construction Industry experience helpful but not required
  • Strong communicator and motivator
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to translate requirements to application functionality
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a small team environment
  • Microsoft Office literate - proficient in Microsoft Excel
