Position Overview:

The Implementation Consultant will be responsible for the implementation and deployment of the Vela Systems mobile software solutions to our growing customer base in the AECO industry. Candidates should be strong individual contributors with the ability to work effectively within a small team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage scope and timeline for project tasks and the quality of project deliverables
• Gather customer requirements and map client process to Vela application functionality
• Trains client on configured Vela application(s) on-site and in a remote training environment
• Tracks client usage on monthly basis and conducts follow up checkpoints via remote meeting
• Transfers project knowledge to Vela Support team and communicated client feedback to Vela Product Management team
• Assists with creation of Statement of Works for customizations/integrations
• Contributes to implementation process improvements
• Assists sales team with prospect calls
• Up to 50% travel

Essential Knowledge/Skills:

• 1 - 5 years of application software implementation experience
• Bachelors Degree or applicable work experience
• Excellent communicator and motivator
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to translate requirements to application functionality
• Experience with remote implementation or e-learning tools
• Construction Industry experience helpful but not required
• Experience with mobile devices (iPads) is helpful but not required
• Microsoft Office literate - proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
