I like the flexibility of the platform. We can enable or disable specific modules for projects or users. Additionally, I have been able to write my own reports and pull information directly out of the database for my own purposes. Also, it is easy to get data from PrologR into Vela - the import APIs are flexible.

The support team is always just a phone call or email away. They have been very responsive as I've rolled out the system to our projects.

On Vela Systems Integration with Meridian Systems^® Prolog^®

It literally took me 20 minutes to set it up. Synchronizing data between Prolog and Vela is even faster: thousands of inputs can transfer in as little as 10 minutes. This has been an easy tool to use compared to other solutions that I've integrated with Prolog.

We now have an automated punch list tracking mechanism that provides a strong system of accountability and is auditable.

With the institution of the Vela System we have saved time and money. We have all mislaid paperwork associated with punchlist and closeout. With electronic punch and back charge capability we have eliminated most of the headaches. And, with synchronization back to the office via the web, all team members know exactly what is going on in real time and can communicate with subcontractors quickly.

By having my files on the tablet, I can access and mark up drawings in the field electronically, then use FileSync to automatically share them with team members. I also have peace-of-mind- I know that my nonconformances and quality issues are being appropriately logged and flagged for other project participants to review. Vela Systems helps me be more efficient and provide a higher quality of service to the client.

We moved our paper-based inspection protocols to Vela Systems and have improved the productivity of our field personnel by approximately 35%. As a unit inspection tool, the Vela mobile software is easier and more time efficient than a pen and paper because you can check off predetermined boxes and avoid entering repetitive data, such as unit type, "sync" up and compare notes during the on-site inspection, and cross reference unit inspection results with the capital budget and the lease audits (and without having to reenter all the data). Vela saves between 1/2 and 1 full day of on- site inspection and at least 1 day's worth of back office work.
